Every enterprise AI vendor promises a private assistant. Alpha Boffin is the one that runs where the work is: on the employee's computer, in the document they have open, and on a call.
The work happens on the employee's computer, not on ours.
Alpha Boffin is a desktop app. The agent, its sandbox, its tools, and the files it works on all live on the machine in front of the employee. Conversations and files stay on that computer unless the workspace's Cloud sync is switched on. Load a local model and the whole thing runs without an internet connection: nothing leaves the building, and no provider ever sees the prompt. When a frontier cloud model is the right tool, the request goes through your dedicated deployment on your keys, and never into anyone's training set.
An agent inside Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Open the Alpha Boffin pane in the file you already have open. The agent reads the live document, including edits nobody has saved yet, and changes it directly: fills cells, rewrites a section, adds a slide, drafts the reply. Every change lands as an ordinary Office edit, so Undo works. Pick any model provider for the job. One click installs it into an employee's own Office from the desktop app, on Windows and macOS, and it signs in through your company's deployment, so document contents travel through your environment and your chosen model provider, nowhere else.
Say it on a call, and it takes the mouse.
Start a voice call with the desktop app and ask for something on screen: "open the vendor portal and download last month's invoices". The agent takes the real mouse and keyboard on that computer, works through the task, and the call narrates each step aloud. The first screen action waits for a spoken yes, an always-on-top overlay shows what it is doing, and "stop" ends it. It is the same screen control an employee can type to the agent, driven hands-free. Needs the desktop app, on macOS or Windows.
