Windows installation

Check the publisher.

The published download guide notes that Windows may show a SmartScreen warning on first launch. Verify you downloaded from the official site and that the publisher is Alpha Boffin Inc. before proceeding. If anything differs, stop and contact support.

Linux installation

Install the Debian package.

Open the downloaded .deb with your distribution’s Software Center, or use this command from the download folder:

sudo apt install ./alphaboffin-*.deb

Launch Alpha Boffin from your applications menu. Updates are delivered automatically.

Prefer a USB or external drive? Read the portable guide before moving or formatting a drive. Preparing a drive may erase existing data.
